Did You Know?
Dr. Angela Harney participated in the 2nd annual Dentistry from the Heart Day in Cape Coral on Friday February 17th. This allowed local residents in need of dentistry to come down for a free cleaning or extraction.
Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those who need it. Every year, individual dentists and practices across the country donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH events. In support our of DFTH partners, the organization serves to recruit, unify, and promote events on a national level.
Angela Harney DMD, 2012 Top Dentist selection was based on hundreds of detailed evaluations of dentists by their peers in the Fort Myers, Lee County area.
In order to make this selection, Top Dentists takes into consideration years of experience, continuing education, manner with patients, use of new techniques and technologies and of course, physical results.

Dr. Angela Harney attended a comprehensive continuing education course this weekend that covered the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea.
Obstructive sleep apnea has been linked to many common diseases such as high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, and gastric reflux disease. Dental sleep devices have been proven to be an effective treatment alternative to CPAP in patients that suffer from mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Angela Harney in Fort Myers, Florida was chosen by Incisal Edge Magazine as one of their top 40 under 40 dentists.
To make the Top 40 list, Incisal Edge solicited scores of nominations from dozens of industry leaders. Every 40 under 40 finalist had to pass muster with each judge then was evaluated based on their accomplishments, industry leadership and innovative execution.
Dentists making the Top 40 under 40 showed the judges that this group is a tech-savvy, patient-oriented, solutions-minded group that is offering assurance that the dental industry's best days lye firmly ahead.
